1. Preparation

  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner inside the throttle body and scrub gently with a soft cloth or brush.
  • Ensure that the throttle plate is free to open and close without obstruction.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct and securely fasten all connections.
3. Inspect and Replace the Throttle Position Sensor (if necessary)
  • Tools Required: Multimeter, socket set, replacement throttle position sensor.
  • Locate the throttle position sensor on the throttle body.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the TPS.
  • Use a multimeter to check the voltage output while manually moving the throttle plate.
