Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
2. Inspect and Replace Brake Fluid
  1. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
  2. Check the fluid level; if low, top off with the manufacturer-recommended brake fluid (usually DOT 4).
  3. If the fluid is contaminated (dark or debris present), proceed to change it.
  4. Use a brake bleeder kit to remove old fluid from each brake caliper, starting from the wheel farthest from the master cylinder.
3. Bleed the Brake System
  1. Connect the brake bleeder kit to the first brake caliper.
  2. Have an assistant pump the brake pedal several times and hold it down.
  3. Open the bleeder valve to release air and old fluid, then close the valve before your assistant releases the pedal.
  4. Repeat until clear fluid is observed, then move to the next caliper (following the sequence: right rear, left rear, right front, left front).
  5. Ensure all air is removed from the system.
4. Inspect Brake Lines and Hoses
  1. Visually check all brake lines and hoses for cracks, leaks, or bulges.
  2. Tighten any loose connections and replace any damaged lines or hoses.
  3. If any leaks are found, replace the affected components.
5. Check Brake Booster
  1. Inspect the brake booster for any signs of vacuum leaks.
  2. If the booster is faulty, disconnect the brake master cylinder and replace the brake booster following the manufacturer's specifications.
