Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
2. Remove Fuel Injector Rail
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from each fuel injector.
  • Remove the fuel rail bolts using a socket set.
  • Carefully lift the fuel rail away from the engine, ensuring injectors come out with the rail.
3. Inspect and Clean Injectors
  • Visually inspect each injector for signs of damage or clogging.
  • Use a fuel injector cleaning kit to clean each injector individually.
    • Attach the cleaning kit to the injector according to the manufacturer's instructions.
    • Flush the injectors with cleaning solvent to remove deposits.
4. Replace Faulty Injectors
  • If any injectors are found faulty, replace them:
    • Apply a small amount of engine oil to the O-rings of the new injectors for proper seating.
    • Install the new injectors into the fuel rail.
    • Reattach the fuel rail to the engine, ensuring injectors fit securely.
5. Reconnect Components
  • Reattach all electrical connectors to the fuel injectors.
  • Install the fuel pump fuse back in place.
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
