Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on the electrical components.
2. Clean or Replace Air Filter
  • Remove the air filter cover using a socket set.
  • Inspect the air filter for dirt and debris.
  • If dirty, replace with a new air filter (OEM recommended).
3. Fuel System Inspection
  • Use a fuel pressure gauge to connect to the fuel rail.
  • Turn the ignition to the "ON" position (do not start) to check fuel pressure.
  • If pressure is below specifications, replace the fuel pump.
4. Throttle Body Cleaning
  • Disconnect the throttle body connector and remove the throttle body using a socket set.
  • Clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to remove carbon buildup.
  • Reinstall the throttle body and reconnect the electrical connector.
5. Spark Plug Replacement
  • Remove the ignition coils using a socket set.
  • Take out the old spark plugs using a spark plug socket.
  • Install new spark plugs (follow torque specs provided in the owner's manual).
  • Reinstall the ignition coils.
6. MAF Sensor Testing and Cleaning
  • Disconnect the MAF sensor plug and remove it from the intake.
  • Clean the MAF sensor with MAF cleaner and let it dry.
  • Reinstall the MAF sensor and reconnect the plug.
7. Fluid Check and Replacement
  • Check the transmission fluid level with the dipstick (if applicable).
  • If low or dirty, drain and replace the transmission fluid with the manufacturer-recommended fluid.
