Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety during repairs.
2. Inspect and Clean the Throttle Body
  • Remove the engine cover to access the throttle body.
  • Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector.
  • Remove the throttle body from the intake manifold by unscrewing the mounting bolts (torque to manufacturer specifications when reinstalling).
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • Reinstall the throttle body and reconnect the electrical connector.
3. Replace Spark Plugs and Ignition Coils

  • Unscrew and remove the ignition coils from the spark plug wells.
