Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and materials.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and secure it with wheel chocks.
  • Wear safety glasses and gloves.
2. Lift the Vehicle
  • Use a jack to lift the front or rear (depending on which brakes are shaking) of the vehicle.
  • Secure the vehicle with jack stands.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Components

A. Inspect Rotors

  • Remove the wheel using a socket set.
  • Check rotors for warping using a run-out gauge. Replace if warping exceeds specifications.

B. Replace Rotors (if necessary)

  • Remove the caliper by unscrewing the caliper bolts using a torque wrench.
  • Suspend the caliper with a wire, avoiding strain on the brake line.
  • Remove the old rotor and install the new rotor, ensuring it is seated properly.

C. Replace Brake Pads

  • Remove the old brake pads from the caliper bracket.
  • Apply brake grease to the back of the new pads and install them.
  • Reassemble the caliper over the new pads and torque the caliper bolts to manufacturer specifications.
4. Check Suspension Components
  • Inspect control arms, bushings, and tie rods for wear.
  • Replace any worn or damaged components.
5. Reassemble and Lower the Vehicle
  • Reinstall the wheel and torque lug nuts to specification.
  • Lower the vehicle from the jack stands and remove the jack.
