Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: key fob, and ensure you are in a safe environment with the vehicle in "Park".
  • Ensure the vehicle is off before starting the procedure.
2. Access the Service Reset Menu
  1. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine (press the "Start/Stop" button without pressing the brake pedal).
  2. Wait until the dashboard lights, including the oil service light, are illuminated.
3. Reset the Oil Service Light
  1. Locate the trip odometer reset button on the instrument cluster.
  2. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button.
  3. While holding the button, turn the ignition off and then back on to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
  4. Continue to hold the trip odometer reset button for approximately 10 seconds; the service indicator will begin to flash.
  5. Release the trip odometer reset button, and the oil service light should turn off.
4. Confirm the Reset
  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Turn the ignition back to the "ON" position and check the dashboard to ensure the oil service light is no longer illuminated.
