Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed.
  • Tools Required: Small screwdriver, multimeter, OBD-II scanner.
  • Parts Required: CR2032 battery (or suitable replacement).
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a secure location with adequate space to work.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Using the small screwdriver, carefully pry open the key fob case.
  2. Remove the old battery from the fob, noting the orientation (positive and negative sides).
  3. Insert the new CR2032 battery into the fob in the same orientation as the old battery.
  4. Reassemble the key fob by snapping the case back together securely.
