Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts.

2. Address Air Filter
  • Locate the air filter housing.
  • Open the housing and remove the old air filter.
  • Inspect and clean the housing.
  • Install a new air filter (ensure it meets OEM specifications).
3. Replace Fuel Injectors (if needed)
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the battery.
  • Remove fuel lines from the injectors using appropriate tools.
  • Unbolt and remove the old fuel injectors.
  • Install new fuel injectors and reconnect fuel lines securely.
  • Reconnect the battery.
4. Clean MAF Sensor
  • Locate the mass airflow sensor in the intake duct.
