Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure safety by disconnecting the negative battery terminal.
  • Wear safety gloves and goggles.
2. Battery Replacement
  1. Remove the negative battery terminal using a wrench.
  2. Remove the positive battery terminal.
  3. Unbolt the battery hold-down bracket and carefully lift the battery out.
  4. Place the new battery in the tray, ensuring it is secure.
  5. Reattach the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal.
  6. Tighten all connections securely.
3. Starter Motor Testing/Replacement
  1. If the starter motor is faulty, locate it (usually near the transmission).
  2. Disconnect the battery again for safety.
  3. Remove the electrical connectors from the starter motor.
  4. Unbolt the starter motor using a socket set and remove it from the vehicle.
  5. Install the new starter motor in reverse order of removal.
  6. Reconnect the battery terminals once installation is complete.
4. Fuel System Check
  1. If the fuel pressure is low, inspect the fuel pump fuse and relay.
  2. Replace any blown fuses or faulty relays.
  3. If the fuel pump is defective, follow the manufacturer's procedure to remove and replace the fuel pump from the fuel tank.
