1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: OBD-II scanner, socket set, torque wrench, multimeter, cleaning supplies (throttle body cleaner, MAF cleaner).
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical shorts during repairs.
2. Inspect and Replace Spark Plugs
  • Remove the ignition coils using a socket set.
  • Take out the spark plugs and inspect them for wear or carbon buildup.
  • Replace spark plugs with new ones, ensuring they are gapped according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Reinstall ignition coils and reconnect the electrical connectors.
