Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and materials.
  • Tools Required:
    • Funnel (if adding fluid)
    • Clean cloth or rag
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is at operating temperature.
2. Check Fluid Level
  • If equipped with a dipstick:
    • Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a cloth.
    • Reinsert the dipstick fully and remove it again to check the fluid level.
    • The fluid should be between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' marks on the dipstick.
  • If checking via the fill plug:
    • Locate the fill plug on the side of the transmission.
    • Remove the fill plug using a socket wrench.
    • Insert a finger or a dipstick into the fill hole; the fluid level should be just below the edge of the fill hole.
    • If fluid drips out, the level is adequate.
3. Add Fluid (if necessary)
  • If the fluid level is low:
    • Use a funnel to add manufacturer-recommended transmission fluid.
    • Gradually add fluid until it reaches the correct level.
    • Replace the dipstick or fill plug securely.
