  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe environment with the ignition off.
2. Battery Reinstallation
  • Remove the back cover of the key fob gently using a flathead screwdriver.
  • Ensure the new battery (CR2032) is installed with the positive side (+) facing up.
  • Reattach the back cover securely.
3. Key Fob Reprogramming
  • Sit in the driver's seat with the key fob.
  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn to the "On" position without starting the engine.
  • Press and hold the unlock button on the key fob for about 10 seconds.
  • While holding the unlock button, press the lock button three times.
  • Release the unlock button and turn the ignition off.
  • Test the key fob to check if it is working.
4. Inspect Key Fob Components
  • If the key fob still does not work, open it again and inspect the circuit board for any visible damage or loose connections.
  • Clean any corrosion using isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush if necessary.
  • Reassemble the key fob and retest.
