Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: Small Phillips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, and a new CR2032 battery.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe location with adequate space for repair.
2. Battery Replacement
  1. Open the Key Fob:

    • Use the flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob case along the seam.
    • Be cautious not to damage the casing.
  2. Replace the Battery:

    • Remove the old CR2032 battery.
    • Insert the new battery with the positive side (+) facing up.
  3. Reassemble the Key Fob:

    • Align the two halves of the key fob case.
    • Press the case together until it clicks, ensuring a secure fit.
3. Reprogramming the Key Fob (if necessary)
  1. Enter the Vehicle:

    • Sit in the driver's seat with all doors closed.
  2. Insert the Key Blade:

    • Insert the key blade into the ignition slot (if applicable) or place the key fob in the designated spot (if the vehicle has Comfort Access).
  3. Turn the Ignition:

    • Turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
    • Wait for about 10 seconds, then turn it back to "OFF" and remove the key.
