Solution
1. Preparation

  • Small Phillips screwdriver
  • Key fob battery (CR2032 or as specified)
  • OBD-II scanner (optional for reprogramming)
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the seam of the key fob to gently pry it open.
  2. Remove the old battery and note the orientation.
  3. Insert the new battery in the same orientation (positive side facing up).
  4. Snap the key fob casing back together firmly until it clicks.
