Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, multimeter, socket set, screwdrivers, and a trim removal tool.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during repairs.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuses
  • Locate the fuse box and find the window fuse according to the owner’s manual.
  • Remove the fuse with a fuse puller and inspect it. Replace if blown.
  • Reconnect the battery and test the windows.
3. Test and Replace Window Switches
  • Remove the door panel using a trim removal tool.
  • Disconnect the window switch harness and test for continuity.
  • If defective, replace the switch with a new OEM part.
  • Reassemble the door panel carefully.
4. Inspect and Replace Window Motors/Regulators
  • If the window still does not operate, remove the door panel again for access.
  • Disconnect the window motor connector and test for voltage when the switch is activated.
  • If no voltage is present, check wiring for damage.
  • If the motor is faulty, remove the window regulator assembly:
    • Unscrew the mounting bolts securing the regulator.
    • Disconnect the window from the regulator.
    • Install the new regulator and motor assembly in reverse order.
  • Reconnect all electrical connections and reassemble the door panel.
