Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
2. Remove Engine Cover
  • Use a socket set to remove any bolts securing the engine cover.
  • Carefully lift the engine cover off and set it aside.
3. Access Fuel Injectors
  • Remove the intake manifold if required to access the fuel injectors.
    • Disconnect any sensors or hoses attached to the manifold.
    • Remove bolts securing the manifold with a torque wrench.
    • Lift the manifold away gently, taking care not to damage any gaskets.
4. Remove Fuel Injectors
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from each fuel injector.
  • Remove the fuel rail bolts with a socket set and lift the fuel rail off the injectors.
  • Carefully pull each injector out of the fuel rail, checking for O-ring damage.
5. Install New Fuel Injectors
  • Lubricate the O-rings of new injectors with clean engine oil to ensure a proper seal.
  • Insert new fuel injectors into the fuel rail, ensuring they are seated correctly.
  • Reattach the fuel rail and secure with bolts, torquing to the manufacturer’s specifications.
6. Reassemble Vehicle
  • Reinstall the intake manifold and connect all sensors and hoses.
  • Replace the engine cover and secure it with bolts.
  • Reconnect the battery.
