Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts before starting the repair.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety when working on electrical components.
2. Inspect and Replace Air Filter
  • Remove the air filter cover using a socket set.
  • Take out the existing air filter and inspect for dirt and debris.
  • Replace with a new, clean air filter.
  • Reinstall the air filter cover securely.
3. Clean or Replace Fuel Injectors
  • Remove the fuel rail by disconnecting the necessary bolts and electrical connectors.
  • Carefully pull out the fuel injectors from the rail.
  • Use a fuel injector cleaner or replace old injectors with new ones if clogged.
  • Reinstall fuel injectors into the rail and secure the rail back in place.
4. Inspect and Replace Spark Plugs
  • Remove the ignition coil pack using a socket set.
  • Extract the spark plugs with a spark plug socket.
  • Inspect the spark plugs for wear; replace if necessary with OEM or equivalent parts.
  • Reinstall the ignition coil packs and ensure they are seated properly.
5. Test Fuel Pressure
  • Attach a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail.
  • Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (do not start the engine) to check for the proper fuel pressure (refer to the manufacturer specs).
  • If pressure is low, replace the fuel pump and/or fuel filter as needed.
