Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety.
  • Allow the engine to cool down before starting any work.
2. Check and Change Engine Oil
  • Remove the oil filler cap and check the oil level with a dipstick.
  • If low, proceed to drain the old oil:
    1. Place an oil drain pan under the oil pan.
    2. Remove the oil drain plug and allow the oil to completely drain out.
    3. Replace the drain plug and torque it to the manufacturer's specifications (typically around 25 Nm).
  • Remove the old oil filter using an oil filter wrench.
  • Install a new oil filter, lubricating the rubber gasket with new oil and tightening it by hand.
  • Refill with the correct type and amount of engine oil (typically 5W-30 or 0W-40, depending on specifications).
3. Inspect and Replace Oil Pressure Sending Unit (if necessary)
  • If oil pressure is low, locate the oil pressure sending unit.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the sending unit.
  • Unscrew the sending unit using a socket wrench.
  • Install the new oil pressure sending unit and reconnect the electrical connector.
4. Address Oil Leaks (if found)
  • Clean the area around any visible leaks.
  • Replace any damaged gaskets or seals.
  • Tighten any loose bolts or fittings to eliminate leaks.
