Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Inspect and Replace IAT Sensor
  • Locate the IAT sensor on the intake manifold.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  • Remove the sensor using a socket set.
  • Clean the mounting area before installing the new sensor.
  • Install the new sensor and reconnect the electrical connector.
3. Replace Coolant Temperature Sensor
  • Locate the coolant temperature sensor (usually near the thermostat housing).
  • Drain a small amount of coolant to avoid spills.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the sensor using a wrench.
  • Install the new sensor and reconnect the electrical connector.
  • Refill the cooling system and bleed any air pockets.
