Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver
  • Open the key fob using the screwdriver.
  • Replace the old battery with a new one (CR2032).
  • Reassemble the key fob and test the locks again.
3. Inspect and Replace Door Lock Actuators
  • Tools Required: Torx screwdriver set, socket set, multimeter
  • Remove the interior door panel using the Torx screwdriver to access the door lock actuator.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator.
  • Use a multimeter to test the actuator for continuity.
  • If defective, remove the actuator by unscrewing it and replace it with a new one.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector and reassemble the door panel.
4. Replace Central Locking Relay (if necessary)
  • Tools Required: Socket set
  • Locate the central locking relay in the fuse box (refer to the owner's manual for exact location).
  • Remove the relay by pulling it out of its socket.
  • Replace it with a new relay and ensure it’s seated properly.
5. Final Assembly
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Test the power locks using both the key fob and the interior lock switch.
