Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Tools Required:
    • Small flathead screwdriver
    • New CR2032 battery (or as applicable)
    • Multimeter (optional for battery testing)
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use the small flathead screwdriver to carefully pry open the key fob casing.
  • Start at the seam, applying gentle pressure to avoid damaging the casing.
3. Replace the Battery
  • Remove the old battery from the key fob.
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
  • Reassemble the key fob by snapping the two halves back together securely.
4. Reprogram the Key Fob (if necessary)
  • Sit in the driver's seat with all doors closed.
  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine.
  • Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the key fob for approximately 10 seconds.
