Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove the intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean any carbon buildup on the throttle plate and inside the housing.
  • Reinstall the intake duct securely.
3. Replace Fuel Filter (if necessary)
  • Locate the fuel filter, usually found along the fuel line.
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using a line removal tool.
  • Replace the old fuel filter with a new one, ensuring proper orientation.
  • Reconnect the fuel lines and reinstall the fuel pump fuse.
4. Inspect and Replace MAF Sensor (if necessary)
  • Locate the MAF sensor in the air intake system.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector and remove any screws holding the sensor in place.
  • Install the new MAF sensor and reconnect the electrical connector.
5. Transmission Fluid Change (if necessary)
  • Raise the vehicle securely and support it with jack stands.
  • Place a drain pan under the transmission pan and remove the pan bolts.
  • Allow the old fluid to drain completely, then replace the transmission filter if applicable.
  • Reinstall the pan with a new gasket and refill the transmission with the appropriate fluid type as specified in the owner’s manual.
