Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent electrical shorts.
  • Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on jack stands.
2. Remove the Wheel
  • Use a lug wrench to loosen and remove the lug nuts.
  • Remove the left front wheel to access the brake assembly and wheel speed sensor.
3. Inspect and Replace the Wheel Speed Sensor
  • Locate the left front wheel speed sensor mounted on the brake assembly.
  • Disconnect the sensor's electrical connector.
  • Remove the mounting bolt securing the wheel speed sensor to the hub.
  • Carefully pull the sensor out of its housing.
  • Tools Required: Socket set, Torque wrench.
4. Install New Wheel Speed Sensor
  • Insert the new wheel speed sensor into its housing.
  • Secure it with the mounting bolt and torque it to the manufacturer's specifications (typically around 10 Nm).
  • Reconnect the electrical connector, ensuring it clicks into place.
5. Reassemble and Recheck
  • Reinstall the left front wheel and hand-tighten the lug nuts.
  • Lower the vehicle and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer's specifications (typically around 100 Nm).
  • Reconnect the vehicle's battery.
