Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, multimeter, socket set, and a flashlight.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Replace Cabin Air Filter
  • Remove the Glove Box:
    • Open the glove box and remove any contents.
    • Locate the stops on either side and gently squeeze to release them.
  • Replace the Filter:
    • Locate the cabin air filter cover and remove it.
    • Take out the old filter and insert the new one, ensuring it is oriented correctly.
  • Reassemble:
    • Reattach the filter cover and reinstall the glove box.
3. Repair or Replace Faulty Components
  • Fuses:
    • If a blown fuse is found, replace it with the same amperage fuse.
  • Blend Door Actuator:
    • If the blend door actuator is faulty, remove the actuator from its mounting and disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Install a new actuator and reconnect the wiring.
4. Recharge A/C System (if necessary)
  • Connect Manifold Gauges:
    • Attach the high and low-pressure sides of the manifold gauge set to the A/C service ports.
  • Check Levels:
    • If refrigerant is low, vacuum the system and recharge it following the manufacturer’s specifications.
