1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool
    • Clean cloth or vacuum (optional for cleaning)
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a flat surface.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Open the glove compartment.
  2. Remove any contents from the glove compartment to prevent damage.
  3. Locate the stop arm on the right side of the glove compartment and gently press it inward to release the glove compartment door.
  4. Allow the glove compartment to drop down fully to expose the cabin air filter housing.
3. Replace the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Locate the cabin air filter cover, which is typically secured by clips or screws.
  2. If screws are present, use a screwdriver to remove them; if clips, gently unclip them.
  3. Carefully pull the cover off to access the filter.
  4. Remove the old cabin air filter by pulling it straight out. Note the orientation of the filter for proper installation of the new one.
