1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver, CR2032 battery (or appropriate battery for your key fob), OBD-II scanner (if needed).
  • Ensure the vehicle is off and the keys are removed from the ignition.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  • Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  • Remove the old battery and note the orientation.
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery in the correct orientation.
  • Snap the key fob casing back together until it clicks securely.
