Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flathead screwdriver, multimeter, replacement battery (CR2032 or as specified).
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a secure location and that you have access to both the vehicle and the key fob.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Remove the old battery from the key fob. Note the orientation of the battery for correct placement of the new one.
  3. Insert the new battery in the same orientation as the old one.
  4. Snap the key fob casing back together securely.
3. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)
