Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and materials:
    • Screwdriver (flathead or Phillips as required)
    • New cabin air filter (compatible with 2016-Present Toyota Tacoma N300)
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is off.
2. Locate the Cabin Air Filter
  • Open the glove compartment and empty its contents.
  • Locate the stops on both sides of the glove compartment and gently press them inward to release the compartment.
  • Lower the glove compartment fully to expose the back panel.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter access cover (usually a rectangular panel).
  • Remove any screws or clips securing the access cover using the screwdriver.
  • Carefully pull the access cover off to expose the cabin air filter.
  • Slide the old cabin air filter out of its housing, noting its orientation for the new filter installation.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
