2. Replace Thermostat

  • Clean the mating surfaces of the housing and engine block using a gasket scraper.
  • Install the new thermostat, ensuring it is oriented correctly as per the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Reattach the thermostat housing and torque the bolts to the manufacturer’s specifications.
3. Inspect and Replace Radiator Cap
