Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:

    • Small flathead screwdriver
    • Replacement battery (CR2032)
  • Remove the key fob from the key ring and ensure you have a clean, well-lit workspace.

2. Replace the Key Fob Battery
  1. Using the small flathead screwdriver, carefully pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Locate the battery inside the fob and note the orientation (positive and negative sides).
  3. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the same orientation.
  4. Snap the key fob casing back together until it clicks securely.
3. Reprogram the Key Fob (if necessary)
  1. Sit inside the vehicle with all doors closed.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (do not start the engine).
  3. Press the "Lock" button on your key fob for 1 second.
