Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: clean lint-free cloth, funnel (if applicable), and possibly a 10mm socket (for fill plug access).
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is warm.
  • Wear safety gloves to protect your hands.
2. Checking Fluid Level
  • If equipped with a dipstick:

    1. Remove the dipstick from the tube.
    2. Wipe the dipstick clean to remove any fluid.
    3. Reinsert the dipstick fully and then remove it again to check the fluid level.
    4. The fluid level should be between the "Full" and "Low" marks on the dipstick.
    5. If low, add the recommended transmission fluid through the dipstick tube using a funnel.
  • If checking via the fill plug:

    1. Locate the fill plug on the transmission.
    2. Remove the fill plug with a 10mm socket.
    3. Insert a finger into the fill hole; the fluid should be level with the bottom of the fill hole. If you can’t feel fluid, it’s low.
    4. If low, add the specified fluid until it begins to trickle out of the fill hole.
    5. Reinstall the fill plug and torque it to manufacturer specifications.
