1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is turned off.
  • Gather necessary tools: no specific tools are required for this reset.
2. Access the Odometer Display
  1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
  2. Press the "Push to Start" button twice if equipped or turn the key to the "ON" position.
  3. Ensure the odometer is displayed on the dashboard (not the trip meter).
3. Reset the Maintenance Light
  1. Turn off the ignition again.
  2. While holding down the "Trip" button on the dashboard, turn the ignition back to the "ON" position.
  3. Continue to hold the "Trip" button until the maintenance light blinks and then turns off (this usually takes about 10 seconds).
  4. Release the "Trip" button once the light has turned off.
4. Confirm Reset
  1. Turn off the ignition one last time.
  2. Start the engine to confirm that the maintenance light is no longer illuminated.
