Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.

2. Remove Wheel
  • Use a lug wrench to loosen lug nuts slightly before lifting the vehicle.
  • Lift the vehicle with a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel to access the brake components.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Pads
  • Inspect: Check the thickness of the brake pads. If they are less than 1/8 inch thick, they need replacement.
  • Remove: Unbolt the caliper using a socket wrench, then slide it off the bracket.
