1. Preparation

2. Remove the Wheel

  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.
3. Remove the Brake Components
  • Remove the brake caliper by taking out the caliper bolts (typically 14mm or 17mm).
  • Support the caliper with a bungee cord or similar to avoid strain on the brake line.
  • Remove the brake rotor by taking out the retaining screws if applicable.
4. Remove the Wheel Hub Assembly
  • Remove any dust covers from the hub.
  • Take out the axle nut (usually a 30mm socket) using a breaker bar.
