Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Fuse puller or needle-nose pliers
    • Multimeter (for continuity testing)
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface.
  • Open the hood and locate the fuse box (typically near the battery).
2. Access the Fuse Box
  • Use the owner’s manual to find the exact location of the fuse box.
  • Open the fuse box cover by pulling it off gently.
3. Remove the Blown Fuse
  • Identify the blown fuse using the diagram on the cover or in the owner's manual.
  • Using the fuse puller or needle-nose pliers, grasp the blown fuse and pull it straight out.
  • Inspect the fuse visually. If the metal strip inside is broken or melted, it is confirmed blown.
4. Install the New Fuse
  • Obtain a replacement fuse of the same amperage (indicated on the fuse).
  • Align the new fuse with the slots in the fuse box and press it in until it is securely seated.
5. Close the Fuse Box
  • Replace the fuse box cover by aligning it properly and pressing it back into place until it clicks.
  • Close the hood of the vehicle.
