Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Lift the Vehicle
  • Use a jack to lift the front of the vehicle.
  • Secure it with jack stands to ensure safety.
  • Remove the front wheels using a socket set.
3. Remove the Old Ball Joint
  • Locate the ball joint on the control arm.
  • Remove the cotter pin and the nut securing the ball joint to the steering knuckle.
  • Use a ball joint separator tool to detach the ball joint from the steering knuckle.
