1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface.
  • Tools Required:
    • Flathead screwdriver (if needed for clips)
    • Replacement cabin air filter
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Open the glove compartment and remove any stored items.

  3. If present, remove the screws or clips securing the access panel to the cabin air filter compartment.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  1. Carefully pull out the old cabin air filter from its housing. Note the orientation of the filter for installation of the new one.
  2. Inspect the filter housing for any debris or damage and clean if necessary.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  1. Take the new cabin air filter and align it according to the orientation noted during removal (usually indicated by arrows on the filter).
  2. Slide the new filter into the housing until it is securely in place.
5. Reassemble Components
  1. Reattach the access panel and secure it with screws or clips if applicable.
  2. Raise the glove compartment back into position and ensure the stops click back into place.
