Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical shorts.
2. Access Fuel Injectors
  • Remove the engine cover (if equipped) using a socket set.
  • Detach the air intake duct to gain access to the fuel rail.
  • If necessary, remove any components obstructing access to the fuel rail and injectors.
3. Remove Fuel Injectors
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from each fuel injector carefully.
  • Unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold using the appropriate socket.
  • Gently pull the fuel rail away from the manifold, extracting the fuel injectors from their ports.
4. Inspect and Clean
  • Examine each fuel injector for clogs, carbon buildup, or signs of leakage.
  • Use a fuel injector cleaner or ultrasonic cleaner to clean each injector if necessary.
  • Inspect O-rings for damage; replace if necessary.
5. Reinstall Fuel Injectors
  • Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to new O-rings to ensure a proper seal.
  • Insert the cleaned or new injectors back into the fuel rail and attach the fuel rail back onto the intake manifold.
  • Reconnect the electrical connectors to each injector.
6. Final Checks
  • Reinstall any components removed during disassembly.
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Start the engine and check for leaks at the injector and rail connections.
