Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: small flathead screwdriver, coin, new key fob battery (CR2032 or equivalent), OBD-II scanner (if needed).
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a secure location and all safety precautions are taken.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob case.
  2. Carefully remove the old battery from the compartment, noting the orientation.
  3. Insert the new battery in the same orientation as the old one (positive side facing up).
  4. Snap the key fob case back together securely.
3. Reprogram the Key Fob (if necessary)
