Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts. Ensure the vehicle is on level ground and the parking brake is engaged.
  • Tools Required: Jack, jack stands, lug wrench, micrometer, torque wrench, brake cleaner, and safety goggles.
2. Remove Wheels
  • Loosen lug nuts slightly while the car is on the ground.
  • Use the jack to lift the vehicle and secure it on jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheels.
3. Inspect and Replace Rotors

    • Use the micrometer to measure rotor thickness. If below manufacturer's specifications, replace the rotors.
