Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety.
  • Allow the engine to cool down before starting.
2. Clean or Replace Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft brush, socket set, torque wrench
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner to clean the inside of the throttle body. Gently scrub with a soft brush if needed.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct and secure it with the appropriate fasteners.
3. Check and Clean Mass Airflow Sensor
  • Tools Required: MAF cleaner, screwdriver
  • Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  • Remove the MAF sensor from the air intake tube.
  • Spray MAF cleaner on the sensing elements (do not touch them) and allow it to dry.
