Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Wear safety goggles and gloves.
2. Raise the Vehicle
  • Use a floor jack to lift the front or rear of the vehicle.
  • Secure the vehicle with jack stands to ensure stability.
3. Remove the Old Shocks/Struts
  • Front Shocks/Struts:

    1. Remove the wheel using a socket set.
    2. Unbolt the top mount of the strut assembly from the engine bay.
    3. Disconnect the lower strut bolts from the knuckle using a breaker bar if necessary.
    4. Carefully remove the strut assembly from the vehicle.
  • Rear Shocks:

    1. Remove the wheel.
    2. Unbolt the lower shock mount from the axle.
    3. Remove the top shock mount from the vehicle body.
    4. Take the shock out of the vehicle.
4. Install New Shocks/Struts
  • Front Shocks/Struts:

    1. Position the new strut assembly in place.
