Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked safely.
  • Tools Required:
    • 10mm socket wrench (for battery terminal disconnection)
2. Disconnect the 12V Battery
  • Open the front trunk (frunk) of the Tesla Model 3.
  • Locate the 12V battery on the right side.
  • Use the 10mm socket wrench to carefully remove the negative terminal (black) from the 12V battery.
  • Ensure not to touch the positive terminal with any tools while working on the negative terminal.
3. Wait for the System to Reset

4. Reconnect the 12V Battery
  • After the waiting period, reconnect the negative terminal to the 12V battery.
  • Tighten the terminal securely using the 10mm socket wrench, ensuring there is a good connection.
5. Power On the Vehicle
  • Press the brake pedal and then press the "Power" button on the touchscreen to turn on the vehicle.
  • Wait for the vehicle systems to boot up completely.
6. Monitor Battery Performance
  • Drive the vehicle for a short distance to check if the battery performance has improved.
  • Check the touchscreen for any warning messages related to the battery.
