  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and turned off.
  • Gather necessary tools and wear safety gloves.
2. Access the 12V Battery
  • Open the front trunk (frunk) of the Tesla Model 3.
  • Locate the cover panel near the front of the frunk that conceals the 12V battery.
  • Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry off the cover panel.
3. Disconnect the 12V Battery

  • Ensure terminals are not touching each other or any metal surfaces during this process.
4. Reset the Battery
  • Wait for approximately 5-10 minutes to allow all electrical systems to fully discharge.
  • Reconnect the positive terminal first and ensure it is tightened securely.
  • Follow by reconnecting the negative terminal and tightening it securely.
5. Replace the Cover Panel
  • Align the cover panel over the battery compartment.
  • Press down until it clicks into place to ensure it is secured.
6. Power Up the Vehicle
