Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the 12V battery for safety.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuses
  • Locate the fuse box (refer to the owner's manual for the exact location).
  • Identify the fuse linked to the audio system, usually labeled in the fuse diagram.
  • Use a fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to remove the fuse and inspect it.
    • If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
  • Reconnect the battery terminal after replacing the fuse.
3. Reset the Infotainment System
  • With the vehicle powered on, press and hold the brake pedal.
  • While holding the brake, press and hold the two scroll wheels on the steering wheel until the screen goes black and then displays the Tesla logo.
  • Release the scroll wheels to complete the reset.
4. Software Update
  • Go to the settings menu on the infotainment screen.
  • Select "Software" and check for updates.
  • If an update is available, follow the prompts to install it.
  • Allow sufficient time for the update to complete.
5. Check Wiring and Connectors
  • If issues persist, remove the trim panel around the radio unit using a trim removal tool.
  • Disconnect the connectors from the back of the radio unit and inspect for corrosion or damage.
  • Reconnect the connectors securely and reinstall the trim panel.
