Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather the necessary tools and materials.
  • Ensure you have a replacement battery (CR2032).
  • Work in a clean, well-lit area.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver or a plastic trim removal tool.
  • Insert the flathead screwdriver or trim tool into the seam of the key fob.
  • Gently twist to pry open the casing without damaging it.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  • Note the orientation of the battery (positive and negative sides).
  • Carefully lift the old battery out of the key fob using your fingers or a tool if necessary.
4. Install the New Battery
  • Place the new CR2032 battery into the key fob, ensuring it is oriented the same way as the old battery.
