Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Replace Spark Plug and Ignition Coil
  1. Remove Engine Cover (if applicable)
    • Unscrew any fasteners and lift the cover off carefully.
  2. Access Spark Plug and Ignition Coil
    • Locate the ignition coil on cylinder 2.
  3. Remove Ignition Coil
    • Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil.
    • Unscrew the ignition coil using a socket wrench and remove it from the cylinder head.
  4. Replace Spark Plug
    • Use a spark plug socket to remove the old spark plug.
    • Inspect the old spark plug for wear or carbon buildup.
    • Install a new spark plug, ensuring it is gapped to manufacturer specifications (typically 0.8-1.0 mm for most models).
    • Torque the spark plug to the manufacturer's specifications (usually around 25 Nm).
  5. Reinstall Ignition Coil
    • Insert the new ignition coil over the spark plug and secure it with the screws.
    • Reconnect the electrical connector to the ignition coil.
3. Check and Replace Fuel Injector (if necessary)
  1. Remove Fuel Injector Connector
    • Disconnect the electrical connector from the injector on cylinder 2.
  2. Remove Fuel Injector
    • Unscrew or unclip the fuel rail as needed.
    • Carefully pull the fuel injector out of the rail and cylinder head.
  3. Install New Fuel Injector
    • Lubricate the O-ring of the new injector with clean engine oil.
    • Insert the new fuel injector into the rail and cylinder head.
    • Reattach the fuel rail and secure it.
  4. Reconnect Electrical Connector
    • Reconnect the electrical connector to the new injector.
