1. Preparation

  • Ensure you have a replacement battery (CR2032).
  • Work in a well-lit area to avoid losing small components.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic prying tool to gently pry apart the key fob casing.
    • Tool required: Small flathead screwdriver or plastic prying tool.
  • Carefully insert the tool in the seam of the fob and twist gently to create a gap.
3. Remove Old Battery
  • Once the fob is open, locate the battery. Note the orientation of the battery (positive side facing up).
  • Gently lift the battery out using the screwdriver or your fingers.
4. Insert New Battery
  • Take the new CR2032 battery and insert it into the key fob in the same orientation as the old battery (positive side facing up).
