Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and materials necessary for the job.
  • Tools Required:
    • Fuse puller or needle-nose pliers
    • Multimeter
    • Replacement fuses (check manual for correct amperage)
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface.
2. Locate the Fuse Box
  • Open the driver's side door.
  • Remove the cover of the fuse box, located under the dashboard on the driver’s side.
  • If applicable, also check the under-hood fuse box.
3. Inspect and Remove the Blown Fuse
  • Identify the fuse for the power outlets using the diagram on the fuse box cover or in the owner's manual.
  • Use the fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to carefully pull the fuse out of its socket.
  • Check the fuse visually; if the metal strip inside is broken or burnt, the fuse is blown.
4. Replace the Fuse
  • Obtain a new fuse with the same amperage rating as the blown fuse.
  • Insert the new fuse into the same socket, ensuring it is seated properly.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • Replace the fuse box cover securely.
  • Turn the vehicle’s ignition to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
  • Test the power outlets with a device to ensure they are functioning correctly.
